Do we pay for students who leave mid-year?
You pay on the roll as it stands at the start of the academic year. Students joining later are added pro-rata at the next invoice; students who leave are not refunded but do not count again next year. We do not re-count your roll monthly looking for growth to bill.
What happens if we stop paying?
The account goes read-only, not dark. You can still open records, print receipts and export everything for 90 days. Nothing about a child’s history is used as leverage on an invoice.
Is there a setup fee or a contract?
No setup fee on Ledger or Trust. No multi-year lock-in — the term is one academic year and you can decline to renew at the end of it. Migrating off Timelino is a CSV export you run yourself.
Do you charge per SMS or per parent?
Parents are free and unlimited — a child with four guardians costs the same as a child with one. App and email notifications are included. SMS is the one thing we pass through at cost, because an operator charges us per message and we will not pretend otherwise.
